Lina in L.A. – Beatles & Wild Things

Music and art gatherings for great causes brought out hip herds in L.A. this weekend. Saturday, ‘Wild Thing’, a group art show and charity auction benefitting STARTrescue.org, offered faux taxidermy designs by Anthony Ausgang, Bob Rickett, Steve Olson, Incubus’ Brandon Boyd, Blondie’s Frankie Infante, and more. Sunday, a real life “breakfast with The Beatles” was had at Federal Bar, where Ima Robot’s Tim Anderson and Alex Ebert (aka Edward Sharpe of Magnetic Zeros fame) showcased live performances by Gypsy Death Star, Mobley, Gloom and Doom and The Well Pennies, and sold the new Community Projects disc, which gives 100% of proceeds to the Rock n’ Roll camp for Girls Los Angeles.
