If you ever thought S&M stood for “salesmen & mechanics,” today you'd be absolutely right. The Bizarre Bazaar at Bar Sinister — not to be confused with arms bazaars or OMC's hit single “How Bizarre” — features some of the most compelling local purveyors of sinister whimsy, including JT's Stockroom and Exquisite Restraint Corsetry, along with presenters whose interest in this particular lifestyle has spanned the past 30 years. The midday spectacles include fire fetishist Orpheus Black, Threshold coordinator and host Master George, photographer and “Mr. Long Beach Leather” Don Sir, and the acrobatic antics of Leigh Acosta. And if sin, submission and sexuality all prove to be a bit much, gird your loins and run down the street to the mass at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church — it's really just more discipline and regalia, but if it makes you feel better …
