Ryan O' Neal should have known way back in 1964 when he starred in TV's Peyton Place that life is just one big soap opera. And his has certainly has been no exception. With two divorces, multiple arrests, estranged and/or shaky father-child relationships, more than a few career bombs and the tragic death of partner Farrah Fawcett, his life could be a miniseries in itself (although he did star on a short-lived reality show based on life with daughter Tatum and did a weepy spate of talk-show guest spots). Now he's venturing into the literary world with his memoir, Both of Us: My Life With Farrah (Crown Archetype, 2012). At tonight's signing, O'Neal will be an “open book” on his life story with his angel. His role in Love Story probably pales in comparison.
