Those sounds of castanets, guitars and percussive footwork herald the arrival of an impressive assemblage of international and local flamenco stars in the 2010 Los Angeles Flamenco Festival . The opening night is crowned by La Sobremesa , led by Omayra Amaya, the grand niece of Carmen Amaya, unquestionably regarded as royalty in the world of Spanish flamenco. Friday's program is shared with Briseyda Zarate in Flamenca . Saturday's events include a VIP meet-and-greet reception with a $95 ticket price that includes either the Friday or Sunday show. Sunday's closing performance features San Francisco's La Tania in Aires de La Bahia, plus Jose Tanaka with Soniquete Flamenco, and guitarist Adam del Monte.
