Motorcycle Accident on 57 Freeway Left One Fatality
SAN DIMAS, CA (April 28, 2022) – Saturday morning, Leobardo Estrada died in a motorcycle crash on Arrow Highway, police said.
The incident happened at around 12:36 a.m. on Orange (57) Freeway and Arrow Highway.
Furthermore, authorities immediately responded to the scene upon receiving the report about the crash.
According to reports, the vehicle veered towards the left and sideswiped the divider wall.
Consequently, Estrada was thrown off his motorcycle due to the impact of the crash, landing in the northbound no. 1 lane.
Paramedics upon arrival discovered the victim on the scene. Estrada suffered fatal injuries to his head and chest.
Eventually, the victim was pronounced dead due to the extent of his injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities are yet to determine if alcohol or drugs were factors in this accident.
After the incident, the CHP had to shut down the no. 1 northbound lane after the crash. The freeway reopened sometime before 3:00 a.m.
