DUI Crash on Highway 180 Leaves Woman Severely Injured, Leigha Addington Arrested

FRESNO, CA (April 22, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, authorities arrested Leigha Addington after a DUI Crash on Highway 180.

The crash occurred around 5:00 P.M., near Highway 180 and Cornelia, according to California Highway Patrol.

Allegedly, the DUI suspect was traveling west in a GMC pickup-truck when he collided with a female driver in a Honda CR-V heading east.

Furthermore, the authorities pointed out that the suspect had tripled the legal limits at the time of the crash. The DUI suspect also had a suspended license at the time.

Meanwhile, the female victim sustained major injuries, but is expected to survive. Authorities have not yet released her name.

In addition, the police also stated that this is not Addington’s first time driving under the influence. The 28-year-old suspect received minor injuries from the crash.
