77-Year-Old Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash near Black Rail Court

CARLSBAD, CA (March 28, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a DUI injury collision in Carlsbad leads to the arrest of Lawrence Perez. Police and medical personnel responded to the crash around 1:50 p.m. at the 6100 block of Aviara Parkway. Upon arrival, paramedics located the 77-year-old bicyclist and transported him to a hospital for treatment of serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
