Pedestrian Accident near Wyndham Lane Left One Fatality

SHASTA COUNTY, CA (September 1, 2022) – Friday night, a pedestrian crash on Highway 273 claimed the life of Lawrence Alsenz.

The fatal incident occurred near Wyndham Lane after a vehicle struck a man pushing a shopping cart at the intersection.

Unfortunately, responding emergency personnel declared the man dead at the scene. He was later identified as 52-year-old Lawrence Alsenz of Redding.

According to Redding police, there was no indication that intoxication played a role in the incident.
