Weezer pulled into Los Angeles last night at the Forum with its big arena rock show that had the all the boys and girls screaming.  The band hit the stage in white jump suits that quickly disappeared after the third song to reveal red track suits that could have easily been mistaken for Datarock.  Ah, but the red is so fitting on the Troublemaker Tour and on the heels of their latest release, Weezer (The Red Album).

Die hard fans in the front rows were “throwing” their W signs and jumping with every beat all night, and towards the end of the set Weezer pulled out a knock-your-socks off rendition of the Pink Floyd classic “Time.” It didn't stop there, though. For the encore the band brought out another 30-plus musicians to jam on their hits, including “Beverly Hills.” When Rivers instructed the crowd to give the “hip, hip's” they responded with “Hooray,” to which Rivers replied flatly, “Yeah, that's great” before jumping into “Beverly Hills.” Tokyo Police Club and Angels & Airwaves opened the show.
