Central Bakersfield Solo Vehicle Crash Left Elderly Man Dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 30, 2021) Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash in central Bakersfield that left Larry Glen Kindred dead last Wednesday.

The incident happened around 8:20 P.M. on August 18 at the intersection of Oak Street and Chester Lane.

According to the first responders, officers arrived at the scene and discovered a single black SUV collided into a pole.

Unfortunately, despite the life saving efforts of the paramedics, the driver died at the scene after sustaining critical injuries.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the deadly vehicle crash remain unclear.

However, multiple witnesses claimed that they heard a pop before the collision happened.

Later on, the Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 64-year-old Larry Glen Kindred.

Bakersfield Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
