62-Year-Old Biker Killed in Fatal Crash on Effie Street near McKinley Avenue

FRESNO, CA (March 30, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, 62-year-old Larry Andrews was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash on Effie Street.

According to California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened shortly before 1:00 p.m. on March 21, in the area of Effie Street and McKinley Avenue.

According to sources, a Honda Civic made a left turn in front of him and struck Andrews who was riding his motorcycle on the westbound of McKinley Avenue.

Paramedics found Andrews in a critical condition. They took him to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

At this time, authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver involved.  Although, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing.
