32-Year-Old Man Arrested after Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Greenway Parkway

PHOENIX, AZ (February 13, 2023) – Late Saturday, Larrison James was arrested after a fatal hit-and-run motorcycle collision on 19th Avenue.

The incident happened on February 4th, at around 11:30 p.m., near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

According to reports, James was traveling along 19th Avenue when he struck a motorcyclist. The rider hit James’ windshield and landed on the road. The collision left the victim with serious injuries. Meanwhile, James fled the site of the collision without rendering aid to the injured person.

First responders to the site of the crash pronounced the rider dead at the scene. At this time, the victim has not been identified.

The police later located James parked in an apartment complex. They administered a breath test and arrested 32-year-old Larrison James on charges of second-degree murder and hit-and-run charges.
