34-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Interstate 215

COLTON, CA (December 12, 2022) – Wednesday evening, Laporsha Wiley was killed in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 10. 

Police responded to the scene around 7:43 p.m., near 215 Freeway on November 30th.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area. Upon impact, the pedestrian sustained multiple traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later identified the deceased victim as 34-year-old Laporsha Wiley. 

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.

The California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office will provide more information once available. An active investigation is currently underway.
