An off-duty Los Angeles police officer was killed on May 9, 2014 at nearly the same spot where Nicholas Lee died on patrol two months prior, the LAPD's Rosario Herrera told L.A. Weekly. A cement truck appeared to have crushed the pickup in which the off-duty cop was either driving or riding. All photos by Ted Soqui.
