The rapper/actor known as T.I. is being investigated by LAPD after accusations of he and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2005.

As first reported by the Daily Beast, the anonymous woman went to police in April, claiming that she met the couple at a dance club and was taken back to a hotel. At the hotel, the couple allegedly asked the woman to go to the bathroom with them, eventually asking her to take off her clothes. Her last memory of the night was of her sitting on the couch after feeling very sick from a drink she took from “Tiny” Harris.

T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., and his wife released a statement via their lawyer saying:

“The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD), or indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country. Even assuming the story in the Daily Beast is close to accurate, it appears the LAPD ‘accuser’ has chosen once again to remain anonymous, thereby preventing us from being in a position to disprove or refute her allegations – or even examine them. Meanwhile, although we now appear for the first time to have the name of an ‘accuser’ who supposedly filed a police report with LVPD, we have absolutely zero details about her or her claim.”

These aren’t the first allegations of sexual assault against T.I. and Tiny, as a Las Vegas woman named Rachelle Jenks reported similar claims against the rapper in early May, and in February, 11 other women said they shared similar experiences with the couple.

All parties making the accusations are being represented by lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn.
