Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a 41-year-old woman outside a South Los Angeles hamburger joint July 28. Ladona Kelly was sitting with a male friend in a car outside Tam's Burgers about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 10000 block of South Figueroa Street when a black male gunman approached them and began firing. Kelly was struck multiple times and was taken to a nearby hospital where she died an hour later. Her friend, who police have not identified, received a graze wound. Police believe the shooting was gang-related but said Kelly was not a gang member. No arrest has been made.

Anyone with information should contact LAPD's Southeast Division detectives at (213) 485-4341.
