This year's Labor Day DUI crackdown is epic. It started last week. It continues tonight. And it keeps going right through the holiday.

You thought this was a long hot summer? Just wait until you share a cell with Ramon. Ramon likes you.

Anyway, the Los Angeles Police Department and other area agencies are being nice enough to warn you about their huge end-of-summer drunk-driver crackdown. The LAPD believes that giving you specific warnings about its operations will dissuade you from getting behind the wheel after one too many.

Here's this weekend's 411:

Tonight from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be up and running on Western Avenue and Eighth Street in luxurious Koreatown.

Tonight from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. extra cops will be on the streets of LAPD's Harbor Division area, which includes San Pedro, Wilmington and Harbor Gateway. The department calls this a DUI “saturation patrol.”

Tonight from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. a checkpoint will be expecting you at an undisclosed location in impoverished Malibu.

Tonight from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. a checkpoint will be running in the NFL-beggars' town of Carson.

-Additional Friday checkpoints are planned for Culver City, Gardena, Glendora, Pasadena, Redondo Beach and the Antelope Valley.

-Additional Friday saturation patrols are scheduled to take place in Azusa, Downey, Gardena, Inglewood, Monterey Park, Pomona and Santa Monica.

Saturday from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sheriff's deputies will be operating a checkpoint in the straight-friendly city of West Hollywood.

Saturday from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. a checkpoint will be lurking in the eastern section of the West Coast's city of light, Long Beach.

Saturday DUI patrols are planned for Arcadia, Azusa, Gardena, Pomona, Redondo Beach, Whittier and Long Beach.

Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. a saturation patrol will strike in LAPD's Foothill Division area, which includes Pacoima, Sun Valley, Sunland, Tujunga and more.

Monday saturation patrols will hit the streets of Glendora and Palmdale.

Pace yourself. There's still one more weekend of Labor Day DUI enforcement to go. And even then, summer's not officially over until Sept. 23.
