As early as 6 a.m. on Saturday morning, Angelenos in search of elaborate ensembles headed downtown for LA Opera's first ever costume shop sale. Featuring more than 2500 hundred pieces worn by stars like Placido Domingo and Carol Vaness, the event drew a line that wrapped around Alameda and Fourth Street. Most of the items were sold by noon. Photographer Christopher Victorio was on hand to capture the madness.
