The top seeded L.A. Galaxy defeated crosstown rivals Chivas USA 1-0 in front of 27,000 at Home Depot Center on Nov. 8. Landon Donovan tied the MLS playoff scoring record with his penalty kick goal and the Galaxy advanced to the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Dynamo this Friday night in Carson.
