L.A. Weekly’s Jimi Devine is a finalist for the Benzinga Cannabis Lifestyle Reporter of the Year Award.

The critic and columnist is known as one of the utmost authorities on cannabis, not only highlighting the top flower in the industry, but informing the public of happenings in the cannabis world.

“I’m wildly hyped,” Devine said about the nomination.

The Benzinga Cannabis Award judges, made up of senior-level executives, will be weighing in how the finalists have “shaped the view of the cannabis industry.”

A total of three journalists are up for the top award, with Forbes’ Lindsey Bartlett and High Times’ Jon Cappetta joining Devine in the category.

The financial media outlet will be announcing a winner for Reporter of the Year, along with 30 other categorical for cannabis brands, businesses and industry professionals during its Cannabis Capital Conference in Chicago on September 13-14.

Benzinga is a leader in business news and often a go-to for financial “easy to consume” investment information.
