It's that time of the year again: L.A. Taco's Taco Madness Presented by Groupon has officially started, pitting 32 great tacos against each other in a very fun bracket-style tournament. Print out the bracket, make your picks, start an office pool. Something else to do, in other words, in addition to deciding whether __ will beat ___ this year.

As with previous years, you'll find both old and new (taco) competitors in the tournament, and there are quite a few interesting matchups in the first round.

There's a Santa Monica taco battle with Tacos Por Favor going tete-a-tete with Tacos Punta Cabras, say, and Tacos Tamix faces off against King Taco. And last year's Taco Madness winner, Mexicali Taco & Co., is up against newcomer Colonia Taco Lounge. Place your bets now. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The final round of voting ends on Friday, April 4, and will be followed by a celebratory party of sorts at Grand Park on Saturday, April 5. There will be tacos. Of course.
