Father Sebastiaan’s Endless Night Vampire Ball, which originated in New Orleans, made its Los Angeles debut on Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Globe Theatre downtown. A self-proclaimed celebration of “the spirit, mystery, magic, romance, sensuality and immortality of the vampire world and culture,” the ball drew scantily clad Angelenos with a penchant for the darker side of life, and featured music by Rachele Royale, DJ sets of international “vampire music” by Amanda Jones, Aengel and V-Christ, and a performance by “mistress of enchantment” Auracle Dance. One attendee even dressed exactly like Aliyah in Queen of the Damned.
