Ah Larry Flynt, that maligned champion of First Amendment rights.

In case you didn't see the biopic, he's the guy who made America safe for free speech by fighting for his right to to get deeply gynecological in-print. If it weren't for his Hustler magazine and his legal defense of his right to exploit and degrade hot chicks present nude women in an artful manner, we'd still be going online just to check our AOL email accounts.

Now the Flynt-meister is standing up for WikiLeaks' honcho Julian Assange.

Good cause, Larry. All journalists should stand by Assange and his right to publish documents that the public has a right to know about.

We're just not sure you're the best guy to step up to the plate on this. We were hoping for someone a little more bow-tie, you know? Maye somebody with the last name of Sulzberger.

You make us want to hold our nose while we're routing for Assange.

Maybe it's because, instead of vowing to find a way to help make porn safer, you rebelliously declared that condom use would not happen in your productions, even after a performer in the industry came up HIV-positive.

Anyway, thanks for donating $50,000 to Assange's cause. (That's way more than you pay the stars of your adult films for a starring role). But maybe next time you should do so anonymously.
