Proving once again that the Weekly is your place for bedbug news. According to exterminator Terminix, Los Angeles ranked No. 10 in bedbug infestation nationwide, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

At least we're not New York, which leads the country in bedbugs. Bedbugs are small, delightful creatures that feed on human blood, usually when people are asleep. They love to hide in small crevices and spaces and are extraordinarily difficult to get rid of.

This report comes as the Weekly reported earlier this month on an apartment crawling with the tiny blood suckers. The Centers for Disease Control recommends controlling bed bug populations through vacuuming, sealing cracks and crevices and using non-chemical pesticides. Extreme heat is another way.

Here's the top 10:

1. New York

2. Philadelphia

3. Detroit

4. Cincinnati

5. Chicago

6. Denver

7. Columbus, Ohio

8. Dayton, Ohio

9. Washington, D.C.

10. Los Angeles

Go Ohio, with three cities in the top 10.

Sleep well Angelenos.
