While we like to think of ourselves as worldly ragers, the City of Angels often doesn't rate on the world map of professional partying. You know, Miami, Vegas, Berlin, Ibiza.

But we're getting there (glad we have our priorities straight). Some of the globe's top DJs and dance acts — from Moby to Steve Angello — call L.A. home. And now Ibiza is calling some of them.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong's annual Ibiza International Music Summit, a place for dance music industry professionals to hobnob, is drawing some of L.A clubland's veteranos, including …

… KCRW (89.9 FM) music director Jason Bentley, who will DJ alongside Tong, 2 Many DJs, Dubfire and Hercules & Love Affair (performing live) at the May 27 Grand Finale Festival at Dalt Villa.

Additionally, we're told that Hard festival promoter Gary Richards, techno spinner Damian Lazarus, biz-dev guru Ted Cohen of TAG Strategic, Hollywood music supervisors Liz Gallagher, Jason Alexander and Rudy Chung, and reps from William Morris Endeavor are expected.

IMS happens May 25 through 27, with scheduled panel discussions to include Daniel Miller from the Mute label and techno titan Richie Hawtin, and further performances from the likes of Sasha, Jamie Jones and Luciano and more.
