Los Angeles has become a breeding ground for night markets. There's another evening bazaar coming to town and this one is all about Korean culture.

This two day soiree, dubbed the Ktown Night Market  will be held on April 18 and 19 at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools between 8th Street and Wilshire in Koreatown from afternoon to midnight.

Expect Korean barbecue, up to 40 food vendors, and a food truck alley. Performances and carnival games will also be available throughout the evening. Founders Joseph Park and Danny Park (no relation) said the idea was inspired by the success of the 626 Night Market.

“We thought it was amazing,” Danny said. “And we thought, 'There needs to be one in Koreatown. Maybe we should do one of our own.'” And they are.

There will be over 100 vendors; forty of them will be food booths and the rest will be dedicated to merchandise and sponsorship space. Headliners include Grill 'Em All, The Lime Truck, and Seoul Sausage Company – all of which were winners of the Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race.
 
“Our vision is for people to come and experience Korean food, Korean culture and Korean entertainment. ” Joseph said.

The full vendor list has yet to be announced, but the two Parks indicated that there will be a diverse amount of cuisines available. And admission will be free.

“This isn't just about Koreans,” Joseph emphasized. “What we want to do is create a community event and bring everyone in Los Angeles together. Everyone is welcomed.”
