Long Beach Man Suffers Major Injury in Joshua Tree National Park

INDIO, CA (March 11, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, 33-year-old Kort Natterstad, was airlifted after a rollover crash on Geology Tour Road.

The crash occurred just before 2:00 p.m., on Geology Tour Road in a remote area on the western side of the national park. Emergency crews arrived shortly after.

Natterstad was the only one seriously hurt, while his three friends sustained only minor injuries. Although, details of how the accident occurred were not given.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, Natterstad had to undergo serious treatment. Since Natterstad’s insurance does not cover the expenses, Danielle Frank, a long time friend has put together a GoFundMe on his behalf.

In Long Beach, Kort Natterstad worked as a hospital dealer for medical instruments. He was said to be a valued member of the community.
