Komida, the taco concept from Yamashiro chef Brock Kleweno (not to be confused with Komeda, the fabulous Swedish pop band), will open October 6th.

Located in a small area of the former H. Wood space at Hollywood and Highland, the menu will feature many of the same fusion tacos Kleweno has been serving on Thursday nights at at Yamashiro's weekly spring and summer farmers market.

LAist reports that Komida will use the patio and former bar area on Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Saturday time slot takes advantage of the new Orange Drive Farmers Market, which debuted in the adjoining space on September 10th.

Komida: 1738 N Orange Drive, Los Angeles. (323) 871-2262.
