Woman Killed, Man Injured in Auto Collision on West Dunlap Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (April 12, 2022) – Friday evening, 20-year-old Kimberly Ramirez-Silverio was killed in a speeding accident on 43rd Avenue.

The fatal car crash happened near the intersection of West Dunlap and North 43rd Avenue around 6:50 p.m.

Per reports, Silverio was driving a Ford sedan when she struck a Cadillac SUV, driven by an unidentified man.

Paramedics responded and transported the adult male driver of the SUV to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, medics pronounced Silverio dead at the scene, due to the extent of her condition.

Following preliminary investigations, police said there were no signs of impairment. However, crews currently believe that speed played a role in the car accident.

At this time, the deadly collision is still under active investigation.
