Kim Kardashian has joined that elite group of young people in America known as EVERYBODY in expressing support for the argument that Trayvon Martin was a racial victim in his tragically fatal run-in with neighborhood watch weirdo George Zimmerman.

Sure. Original. But some in the twitterverse wouldn't let the irony of her “NoJustice” hash-tagged sentiment (“My heart goes out to Trayvon Martin's family & loved ones. Thought & prayers being sent their way.”) go unnoticed:

You see, Kardashian's late father, Robert, is perhaps best known for his role on the “dream team” of legal defense lawyers hired by O.J. Simpson during his successful 1995 bid for acquittal after he was accused of murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.

Even though a civil court subsequently found O.J. fiscally responsible for Nicole's death, the dream team was so damn good that many felt justice did not prevail when it came to the homicide of an unarmed white woman.

No, she was not wearing a hoodie.

And so … rightbloggers (whitebloggers?) and other conservative-minded critics were having a field day with Kardashian's statement today:

In K.K.'s defense, she did have a baby with an African American man and do a porn tape with another, so she's down, so to speak.

In fact, you could argue that her father was helping to right a long history of wrongs, even if O.J. isn't exactly the poster child for innocence.
