Just in case your meat guilt wasn't powerful enough, here comes Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, a BBC show premiering in America January 11th at 10 p.m. on Current TV. Each episode, volunteers will head out to the farm to meet, care for, and then slaughter and eat a wide variety of tasty creatures.

The show promises to “tackle tough issues in a tasteful manner,” and we have no doubt that the January 18th episode (“Kebabs”), in which we get to watch the participants “learn how to round the flock of sheep with Chip the sheep dog” and then “choose two that are fully fattened and ready for slaughter,” will be anything but tasteful. The episode description for the January 11th premiere (“Burgers”) even promises that the volunteers (and we the bloodthirsty public) will get to watch the chosen cows killed “up close and uncensored.” The first two episodes to air take place at the English farm and butcher shop Pipers Farm, which also features an extensive online meat store. Now we really can't wait for that FedEx package to arrive.
