23-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Collision on Venice Boulevard; Suspect at Large

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 3, 2021) – Friday night, Kevin Zaldana-Calderon was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Harvard Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m., near the intersection of Harvard Boulevard and Venice Boulevard.

According to reports, a dark-colored 2014-19 BMW struck the victim who was crossing southbound on Harvard Boulevard. In addition, investigators say the pedestrian was walking inside a marked crosswalk at the time.

Moreover, the involved driver did not stop and continued driving after striking the pedestrian. Eventually, authorities arrived and declared 23-year-old Kevin Zaldana-Calderon dead at the scene.

At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department is still working to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
