59-Year-Old Man Dies in Traffic Accident on Harbor Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (February 23, 2023) – Tuesday morning, police responded to a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of Kevin Evans. On February 7th, at about 9:15 a.m., officers responded to Pacific Coast Highway and Harbor Avenue involving a pedestrian crash. According to Long Beach police, officers found 59-year-old Evans on the highway with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, Evans was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries. Both directions of the roadway were briefly closed down to allow for cleanup. At this time, there was no lead about the suspect, and any witnesses are urged to call Crime Stoppers.
