16-Year-Old Boy Killed; Kevin Chris Dahl Arrested after Crash on Los Coyotes Diagonal

LONG BEACH, CA (September 10, 2021) – Saturday night, 33-year-old Kevin Chris Dahl of Lakewood, was arrested after a crash on Deborah Street.

Around 9:07 p.m., officers arrived to the intersection of Deborah Street and Los Coyotes Diagonal. Dispatchers arrived shortly after.

According to reports, the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Tracker was heading south on Los Coyotes Diagonal. There, the driver struck the teen boy as he was walking within a marked crosswalk.

Despite life-saving efforts, the 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. However, his name has not yet been released at this time.

Meanwhile, Kevin Chris Daul was arrested for one count of gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. His bail was set at $100,000.00.
