Traffic Accident on Sapota Drive Intersection Claims the Life of One Motorcyclist

LAKESIDE, CA (April 26, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, Kevin Carter died in a motorcycle crash on Winter Gardens Boulevard, police said.

The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. at the Winter Gardens Boulevard and Sapota Drive intersection near Lakeside.

Furthermore, reports revealed that the motorcyclist, Carter, collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer for reasons unknown.

As a result of the collision, Carter was thrown from his bike and responding medical personnel declared the 36-year-old rider dead at the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the Trailblazer sustained minor injuries and stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities.

Meanwhile, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Police have not released any further information regarding the fatal motorcycle crash on Sapota Drive; however, an active investigation is currently underway.
