One Dead, One Injured in Motorcycle Collision on North Rampart Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (April 1, 2022) – Saturday, 22-year-old Kevin B. Holdefehr was killed in a motorcycle crash on North Rampart Boulevard.

According to reports, the incident occurred near Lake Mead Boulevard. Investigators say the rider of a black Kawasaki motorcycle was heading south on Rampart while approaching the intersection.

There, the rider collided with the left front of a Hyundai Sonata that made a left turn onto Rampart Boulevard, from a private driveway.

Upon impact, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle onto the roadway. Eventually, the rider identified as 22-year-old Kevin B. Holdefehr was taken to UMC where he later succumbed to his serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and stayed at the scene for further investigation.

Crews did not report any further details at this time. However, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently ongoing.
