Victor Buyuka professionally known as Icy Lando is a Kenyan Rapper and Producer whose newest song “Truth or Dare” has been taking over the club scene. The song is produced by UK-based dutch producer N-Geezy who manages to transform the beat and rhythm of the song into a groovy and sensual experience. This musical soundscape also matches the lyrics of the song, helping to further the message that Icy Lando is rapping about.

The song features multi-platinum artist Sean Kingston and Australian R&B star Adrian Swish. This is not the first collaboration between Icy Lando and Sean Kingston. Previously they had released a single called “Options” which has received more than 500,000 streams across all platforms. It was also featured on  Spotify Playlist Support on Shisha Lounge, No Wahala & Fresh Finds: Hip Hop, Notion Magazine, Link UP TV, and Fame Magazine.

Where “Options” was fun and upbeat, “Truth or Dare” has a completely different mood, with a much darker rhythm that is both inviting and daring.  While talking about the collaboration with Sean and Adrian, Icy spoke about how proud he was to be working with some of his music idols and he praised Adrian for the incredible melodies that he brought onto the track. He also teased future collaborations with Adrian Swish, with who he is preparing a collaborative album.

While Icy Lando is now focusing on rap and music production, he first discovered his love of music through his sisters. As a child, he joined his high school choir and band and even joined the Kenyan Boys Choir. This allowed him to grow his musical talent and create a sound that often blends different rhythmical qualities and vibes.

“Truth or Dare” is truly an example of the masterful musical abilities of Icy Lando and the way that he can use music to invite, or rather dare people to experience more and take chances.
