63-Year-Old Victim Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Lincoln Street
OROVILLE, CA (December 5, 2022) – Early Friday night, a pedestrian crash on Oro Dam Boulevard and Lincoln Street left Kenneth Parker dead.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m., on November 25th. Officers say the collision involved a tan Ford F-250 and a pedestrian.
According to reports, Parker was walking across Oro Dam Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by the Ford truck.
Responding officers arrived at the scene and performed life-saving measures. However, medics later pronounced 63-year-old Parker dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, police ruled out alcohol, drugs, or distracted driving as potential factors. Further investigation is underway and anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Oroville Police at 530-538-2448.
