38-Year-Old Dies in Traffic Accident on Southgate Avenue

FULLERTON, CA (June 28, 2022) – A hit-and-run on Harbor Boulevard claimed the life of Kenneth Edward Wassennar II Monday morning.

According to Fullerton Police, the three separate hit-and-run drivers struck the victim around 1:30 a.m. on Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue.

Furthermore, investigators revealed that a southbound white Dodge Charger struck Wassennar pushing a shopping cart across Harbor Boulevard against a red light.

Afterward, a black Jeep Wrangler and a white Honda two-door Civic also struck Wassennar.

However, all drivers involved failed to stop and rendered no aid to the victim.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and pronounced 38-year-old Wassennar II dead at the scene.

At this time, Fullerton officials are encouraging anyone with information about the hit-and-run suspects to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
