Call him the biggest winner.

Arizona-based sumo wrestler Kelly Gneiting became the Guinness-certified “heaviest person to complete a marathon” when he wrapped up Sunday's rain soaked L.A. Marathon in 9 hours, 48 minutes and 42 seconds.

It was his second attempt since 1998, when he finished the race bud didn't weigh in before and after — requirements for Guinness. This time he weighed in after the race at 396.2 pounds. If you can do it, you can do it, right?

Gneiting is 40 years old. He started the race at 7:43 a.m. And he weighed in at an even 400 before the marathon began.

And consider this: 100 participants and bystanders were treated by paramedics for various ailments, and 60 were hospitalized. There were 23,542 runners. The Los Angeles Times reported that some folks had to checked out for hypothermia.

On the other hand, Gneiting jogged for eight miles (not bad), and walked for 18.

So could you?
