These larger-than-life crime bosses, man — they sure love to play house among the L.A. gentry. Whitey Bulger, before last week's big FBI bust, chose to spend post-mafia life strolling Santa Monica's Promenade, scaring off nice old ladies in his sunny retirement community.

Now the feds have nabbed a second most-wanted man — this time, in the suburban paradise of Woodland Hills. Keith Hasson is half Whitey's age, but he's made his 45 years count. Let's just say if you found yourself credit-card-and-mirroring it anytime in the early aughts (ahem, Paris Hilton), you're probably familiar with his work.

Hasson was hiding out…

… in an apartment at Shoup Avenue and Victory Boulevard when he was arrested yesterday, CBS LA reports. According to his “15 Most Wanted” listing with the U.S. Marshals Service, the 45-year-old was kingpin to a nationwide cocaine and marijuana ring, among other big no-nos:

HASSON is considered to be the leader/organizer of a criminal enterprise which was responsible for large scale distribution of cocaine and marijuana throughout the United States. HASSON's organization operated from 1999 through 2005, generating over $20,000,000 in cash and assets. HASSON has an extensive criminal history to include arrests for attempted murder, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, vehicle theft, burglary, and possession with intent to distribute.

And unlike Whitey, Hasson looked the part: six feet tall, 175 pounds with tattoos up both arms. Would it be bad to call him Blacky? Only out of affection, of course. That strange affection we feel for real-life Pacinos who show up in our least hardcore parts.
