Several Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision near McKinley Street

CORONA, CA (August 18, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, 21-year-old Kaylynn Marie Heatley was arrested after a road-rage crash on 91 Freeway.

The incident happened shortly after 7:00 a.m., on eastbound 91 near McKinley Street.

According to investigators, Heatley intentionally rammed three vehicles, one of which was a Tesla, with her Jeep Wrangler. The impact of the collision caused two cars to leave the road.

Upon impact, Heatley fled the scene without contacting authorities.

All three drivers that were struck sustained significant injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and treated all victims. Medics transported the Tesla driver to a local hospital where he had one of his limbs amputated. All of the victims are currently recovering.

California Highway Patrol managed to locate Heatley using her license plate. Police arrested her for suspicion of assault using a deadly weapon and hit-and-run.
