1 Dead and 6 Injured after Deadly Crash on Porter Creek Road

SANTA ROSA, CA (November 8, 2021) – 30-year-old Kate Tillman died Saturday after a head-on crash on Porter Creek Road near Franz Valley Road.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on October 30, on Porter Creek Road, near the Franz Valley Road intersection.

According to reports, Tillman driving a Ford Fusion westbound, for unexplained reasons, allowed the car to drift into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with an eastbound Toyota Highlander.

As a result, officers responding pronounced Tillman dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics took the Toyota driver, Rosa Cachu of Calistoga, and her 5 passengers, aged 8 to 12, to a hospital with mild to serious injuries.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
