Thermal Two-Vehicle Collision Left One 20-Year-Old Woman Dead

THERMAL, CA (May 15, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a traffic collision on Harrison Street claimed the life of Karla Juarez-Florez. Fire personnel responded to the incident around 8:50 p.m. at the 67000 block of Harrison Street in the city of Thermal. According to the CHP, a southbound 1999 Toyota Tacoma veered into the northbound lane of Harroson for unknown reasons. Consequently, the Tacamo collided head-on with a 2002 Dodge Van. The two Dodge occupants suffered minor injuries, leaving one passenger hospitalized. Tragically, the Tacoma driver, identified as 20-year-old Karla Juarez-Florez of Thermal, died at the scene before first responders arrived. At this time, Thermal Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the Harrison Street two-vehicle crash.
