18-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Dirt Bike Collision near Standard Wash
LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (January 11, 2023) – Friday afternoon, Kaden Abal was killed in an off-road dirt bike crash on Highway 95.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m., off the east side of Highway 95 on December 30th.
Per reports, an eastbound dirt bike and a westbound side-by-side vehicle collided head-on around a curve.
The Lake Havasu City Fire Department and River Medical were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics transported the dirt bike rider, 18-year-old Abal, to Havasu Regional Medical Center where he later died.
Following preliminary duties, police stated that speed was a factor in the incident. Additionally, Abal was wearing proper riding gear at the time of the crash.
At this time, an active investigation to determine more information is still currently underway. Once available, further details will be provided.
