Minor Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident near Christy Lane

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 28, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a juvenile sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Lake Mead Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 2:59 p.m., near the intersection of Christy Lane and Lake Mead Boulevard. Officers responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck a juvenile in the area. First responders then took the injured pedestrian, whom police confirmed to be a juvenile, to UMC pediatric emergency in critical condition.

No further information is available at this time, however, an active investigation is still currently underway. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
