Pedestrian Crash on East Paradise Hills Drive Left One Fatality

HENDERSON, NV (March 11, 2022) – Monday night, a pedestrian accident on Paradise Hills Drive claimed the life of one juvenile.

Police responded to a report of a collision in the 100 block of East Paradise Hills Drive around 5:18 p.m.

Per preliminary investigations, the driver of a black coupe lost control while traveling into Paradise Hills Drive. Then, the vehicle veered off-road onto the sidewalk.

There, the vehicle struck a 13-year-old boy. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, the juvenile died at the scene.

Following preliminary investigations, officers ruled out impairment as a factor in the accident. In addition, Paradise Hills was closed in both directions from Greenway to Skyline for about three hours.

At this time, an active investigation into the crash remains underway.
