One Killed in Single-Car Collision near Bear Ridge Road
MORROW BAY, CA (September 29, 2022) – Monday morning, Justin William West lost his life in a solo-car accident on Highway 41.
The fatal incident occurred around 6:40 a.m., just south of Bear Ridge Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old man lost control of his car before overturning down an embankment along Highway 41.
Upon impact, the driver was launched from his vehicle before landing in the roadway. Emergency crews responded and pronounced the man, later identified as Justin William West, dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.
