Two-Car Collision along Road 5 Left One Fatality

QUINCY, WA (November 16, 2022) – Wednesday night, 33-year-old Justin Evans died after a head-on crash on Road 5, according to police.

The accident happened around 8:40 p.m. to the area of Road 5 and Road T, per initial reports.

At this time, the circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, authorities stated a Toyota 4Runner, driven by 33-year-old Evans, crossed the center divider and crashed head-on into a semi-truck.

Authorities arrived and pronounced Justin Evans dead at the scene, due to the extent of his injuries.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Additionally, the driver of the semi, identified as 45-year-old Benjamin Krahn, escaped the collision uninjured.

No further details regarding the fatal collision on Road 5 have been released to the public. Quincy Police will provide more information once available.
