More news from Beverly Hills' anonymous shoegazin' electro crew Jump Clubb. We still don't know who she/he/they/it is/are, but at the very least, it's now clear that there's a female voice involved. Also, I'm gonna get guff for this, but below, you'll find Bad Astronaut's sorta-punk version of Smith's “Needle In The Hay,” a personal favorite of mine that's probably quite hated by a lot of Elliott Smith diehards. The singer is Joey Cape, best known as the leader of Lagwagon, who comes to El Rey this Saturday on “The Revival Tour.”
